To You Be The Glory, Lord, In Our Fear

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, present your request to God. And the peace that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We fear because of the danger.
We fear because of the risks.
We fear because of the butterflies.
We fear because of comfort.
We fear because of the past pain.
We fear because of the lack of faith.

Children, however, have the desired faith.
And not just in God.
They believe that they can do anything,
be anything,
go anywhere,
love unconditionally
and so much more.

They are convinced of their greatness,
and their father allows them to dream because he believes in them too.

Our Father, in Heaven, is just like that.
He holds your hand,
and steps out into the realm of the unknown with you

The places that you will be will test your faith, but...
You have God on your side.
Pray, He will always listen.
He will always be there.
No matter how uncomfortable it may be.

Jesus has been on this earth,
He understands the pain.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
He is your Father and He believes in you.

Go out into the world, share the love of God, and do it scared.

To You Be The Glory, Lord, In This Life.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:12
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you noticed how much time you don't spend focusing your life in the direction that God wants to?
I get so caught up in the glam,
fame,
money,
relationships,
and education
that I ultimately leave God trailing behind.

But, He should not be far behind,
not even behind at all.
He is the one that should be leading me into this world,
nothing else.

I need to keep our eyes focused,
but focused on the heavens.

This world is not my home
I am just passing through.
and soon I will be face to face with GOD THE FATHER

Let Him say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Ask yourself this, do I want that?
The answer of course is up to you, but if you answered yes...
Pray
Pray Hard.
Ask God to take control over your story,
to take away your desires of this world,
to guide you in His plan for your live.

Our goal on earth is to live for Christ.
Do not let things stand in your way.

Remember that this is only temporary,
Heaven is coming.
And we want to be ready.

To You Be The Glory, Lord, In The Constellations

"By the word of the LORD, the heavens were made, their starry host by the breathe of his mouth." -Pslams 33:6
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"If the earth were a golf ball, Canis Majoris would be the height of Mt. Everest."
Imagine little old me,
not even a speck on the golf ball.
But, God still cares about me.
Watching the planets go by, we aren't even that special.

But that sun, the light, the warmth
186, 282 miles per second.
In 8 minutes, light travels 89 million miles, to touch your skin here on earth.
It is one million times bigger than the earth.
Like Louie, I too shrink the good shrink.
I can't even imagine that the God who created this amazing universe
created me.
You.
By His breathe, all of this was spoken into existence.
He is a God of might,
power,
glory,
awe,
wonder.
We worship the God of the heavens. We worship a big God.
All of the problems in this privileged world have become less,
and God,
Bigger.
For a God who created this, my problems are nothing.
I can trust in the Creator, and be confident that I matter.
There is none like Him, so we should worship him that way.

Just remember, you can fit 7 quadrillion earths inside Canis Majoris.
