To You Be The Glory, Lord, In The Sky

"He is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth." - 2 Samuel 23:4
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The waves crash upon the sand, as I walk hand in hand with the Father;
the light has not yet surfaced, only a sliver over the far away horizon.
The sky is painted with all different hues, and not the regular, plain old blue.
Rather, yellows and orange, a little pink too.
The light is growing stronger now, making the sky light up with gladness; today is a new day.
With the wind blowing softly, I almost hear a whisper saying, "I made this for you."

I closed my eyes to take in the smell of the salt, the warmth of the sun, and the sounds of the birds.
With arms open wide and a smile on my face, to You be the glory, Lord.

The thunder rages, and the rain pours. The drops, both big and small, land all around me. The clouds are displaying the work of our Lord. How the droplets stay up in the clouds until the time is right, then falling to the earth; failing to water the soil in which the plants grow.

As the clouds disappear, a sign, covenant appears in the sky.
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Indigo,
and Violet.
I hear the whisper again, "I made this for you." And with the smell of the fresh rain and the wet grass. My arms are open wide and a smile on my face, to You be the Glory, Lord.

As the night time sky overcomes the light, the stars begin to show.
Countless in number, beautiful and complex, the Lord's handiwork shown to everyone.
Though scientists study the sky, they have seemed to miss the whisper that I hear everywhere I go...
"I made this for you."
He made the world beautiful, so that I could stand in awe;
in awe of His glory and praise His name forever.
Forever, until He comes again, forever
So until forever, I will choose to give the glory to the Lord and only the Lord. He is the creator of things beautiful and complex. Creator of this world and beyond to the numerous galaxies that lay far beyond our boarders.
With my arms open wide and a smile on my face, to You be the Glory, Lord.

Hello Readers,
I thank you for making it all the way through my first post. As you can tell, I am kind of new at this, but I ask that you will give me a second chance. Throughout my posts, I hope to capture the Glory of the Lord in words, despite how hard that may turn out to be. I ask you to take this journey with me and experience God in new ways.
To God be the Glory!
